THE LONGING

A one-hour exploration of Home as a living practice

What we'll explore together

We'll move through three threads:

The meaning of the longing - what philosophy, depth psychology, and the wisdom traditions tell us about why we ache for Home, and what that aching is actually for. We'll draw on poetry, literature, and the archetypal understanding of Home as something that lives in the imagination as much as in the world.

The experience of your imaginal Home - a short, guided visualization that invites you to encounter your own inner sense of Home. Not the house you grew up in. Not the place you're trying to get to. The one that lives in you, waiting.

What it means to tend it - a brief reflection on Home as a practice rather than a destination, and what it might look like to begin.

Who this is for

Anyone who has felt the ache of not quite belonging to a place, a life, or a version of themselves.

You don't need a background in psychology or any particular spiritual tradition. You need only be willing to slow down for an hour and be present with yourself.

What you'll leave with

You won’t find answers in an hour. But you will find something better: A felt sense that the longing you carry is not evidence of something broken, but of something deeply alive. And a beginning sense of how to work with it.
